Roxane Scudier

Roxane Scudier is a multidisciplinary artist. She explores the concept of resilience. Inspired by Kintsugi, she sublimates the ugly, and offers a podium to wounds and scars, to celebrate the trials of the past from which the man draws his strength. Life always takes over. In a world in search of perfection, she seeks imperfections and reveals their beauty through drawing and sculpture. The hand, biographical vehicle, occupies a central place in her creations.

Born in Paris in 1991, she joined City & Guilds London Art School in 2010 and won the Vintner's Company competition, then went on to fashion at Ravensbourne, University of Arts London.
In 2014, his "Nuclear, A New Beginning" collection will be exhibited by Leggera Nell'Aria in London.

She then works in New York and Sydney. Returning to Paris she launches her eponymous brand in 2017. As a response to the degrading looks of men, she creates her latest collection "All Eyes On Me" in 2018, whose unique pieces appear as a claim of femininity, singularity and individuality.

That same year, she decided to explore another facet of fashion through styling by working for fashion magazines, commercial campaigns for Parisian fashion brands, as well as for musicians.

Exuberance, fantasy and science fiction are at the center of her fashion creations, which put women on a pedestal, like an untouchable and fantasized icon. In 2019, she follows her inspiration and returns to the applied arts.

Roxane Scudier est une artiste pluridisciplinaire. Elle explore le concept de résilience. Inspirée du Kintsugi , elle sublime le laid, et offre un podium aux blessures et aux cicatrices, pour célébrer les épreuves du passé dont l’Homme tire sa force. La vie reprend toujours le dessus. Dans un monde en quête de perfection, elle cherche les imperfections et révèle leur beauté par le dessin et la sculpture. La main, véhicule biographique, occupe une place centrale dans ses créations. 

Née à Paris en 1991, elle intègre en 2010 la City & Guilds of London Art School et remporte le concours de la Vintner’s Company, puis se consacre à la mode à Ravensbourne, University of Arts London. En 2014, sa collection “ Nuclear, A New Beginning ” sera exposée par Leggera Nell’Aria à Londres. 

Elle travaille ensuite à New York et Sydney, puis crée sa marque éponyme à Paris en 2017. Comme une réponse aux regards dégradants des hommes, elle crée sa dernière collection “ All Eyes On Me” en 2018, dont les pièces uniques apparaissent comme une revendication de féminité, singularité et d’individualité. 

Cette même année, elle décide d’explorer une autre facette de la mode au travers du stylisme photo en travaillant pour des magazines de mode, sur des campagnes pour des marques de mode parisiennes, ainsi que pour des artistes musiciens.

Exubérance, onirisme et science fiction sont au centre de ses créations de mode, qui mettent la femme sur un piédestal, telle une icône intouchable et fantasmée.
En 2019, elle suit son inspiration et revient aux arts appliqués.
